EPONYM FLORALS is a luxury floral and design studio based in Monkton, central Vermont. We create artful, garden-inspired floral experiences for events, brands and spaces in Vermont and beyond.
My love of naturalistic and garden-inspired floristry took root during the decade or so that I spent living in the English countryside. England is also where my three daughters were born (I’m a native Vermonter), and we would often spend weekends exploring castles and historic houses and gardens, so this style is more than just an aesthetic for me. Beyond the obvious personal connection, I’m very conscious of the atmospheric impact of this wild, organically formed, and nuanced style of floristry. I aim to bring the beauty of a magical garden to every wedding.
It’s impossible to believe as wholeheartedly as I do about garden florals and not want to grow everything yourself. While I cannot make this claim - yet - we do grow a significant portion of what we use, and everything else is sourced from local farmers and growers. I love walking through my garden and choosing the individual stems for my bouquets based on their curve or gesture.

Naturalistic
Natural wedding flowers. Our arrangements are an expression of nature and completely seasonal. We love designing with locally grown blooms and other foraged materials and believe these arrangements often feel most soulful. Our studio is all about bespoke design and attention to detail, from gestural shapes to nuanced color palettes and unusual flower varieties.
Responsible
We are champions of sustainable floristry, curating local flowers and exclusively using sustainable and reusable mechanics, never floral foam. At the end of each event we return every twig, leaf, and petal to the garden for composting - completing the natural cycle and nourishing the soil for future flowers. We’re proud to support strong community by acquiring the flowers we don’t grow or forage from local farmers and growers.

Like any good relationship, our partnership is built on trust. It will serve as the foundation to ensure we can tell your unique love story. After we collaborate with you to establish a common visual goal, then we liaise with your wedding planner, venue, and other wedding vendors to bring this vision to life.

We are a design studio with a passion for the creative process. Our offering is tailored to couples and clients seeking a design partner along the creative journey.
Our full-service wedding floristry includes floral concept development, design, and styling, with options for ceremony installations, personal flowers, cocktail hour florals, and immersive dinner tablescapes.
We also offer an à la carte option for elopements and intimate gatherings.
Our commercial floristry services include bold, dynamic floral activations for your brand, as well as bi-weekly floral subscriptions. For Flower Pop-Ups and product collaborations, we’re on board! Please inquire directly for corporate rates.
Flowers are our family business. Iris is the lead grower and floral artist and Andy is the eternally supportive husband who has discovered that, actually, he really quite likes the process of growing things. We also have three daughters who like to help; Poppy loves being a studio and market assistant, Tallulah scares off critters by doing cartwheels between the beds, and Sybie patiently tends the garden with her green thumb. Farming of any kind isn’t easy, but we can’t help but feel like this is a pretty magical way to grow up.
